A Word Child
I loved the wet, grey and gloomy London atmosphere. The melancholic British weather was in unison with the desperation of Murdoch's characters. The author painted a world of boredom and guilt, where flirting and drugs were a mere means to an end for people to make life more tolerable. An interesting book, which regressed into just another dull story in the end.
